DFB-Pokal (Germany): before every match we compare the odds of several bookmakers and use them to derive our tip and the estimated probability of a 1, X or 2 result.
- The tip is the outcome we think most probable. Where the favourite has only a narrow edge, we suggest double chance instead.
- The coloured 1 – X – 2 bar gives our estimated chance of each outcome: home win, draw or away win.
- Fair odds are simply 1 divided by the probability. A bookmaker's price above the fair odds may mean value, yet value never guarantees a winning bet.
